Comprehensive legal agreement governing the commercial relationship between buyers (farmers & retailers), authorized sellers, logistics partners, and AGRIBIZ.FARM.
Direct Seller Invoicing
Goods invoices are issued directly by the verified seller under their own statutory license & GSTIN. Platform service fees are separate.
Agricultural Use & Label Directions
Buyers must read and adhere to manufacturer chemical dosage and safety directions. Yields depend on extrinsic environmental factors.
Statutory Rights Preserved
All rights and consumer protections under the Indian Consumer Protection Act 2019 and E-Commerce Rules 2020 are preserved.
1. Marketplace Model & Parties
AGRIBIZ.FARM is an agricultural technology and marketplace platform operated by CEPLAVAC AGRIBIZ (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED. The platform facilitates digital discovery, ordering, and fulfillment between agricultural buyers (farmers and licensed retailers) and verified independent sellers (licensed distributors, seed suppliers, pesticide dealers, and fertilizer stockists).
The commercial contract of sale for products is directly between the buyer and the authorized seller supplying the goods. CEPLAVAC facilitates technology, cataloguing, intra-district logistics (IDL), payment orchestration, and transaction support.
2. Invoicing Architecture
Issued by the respective Seller to the buyer, carrying the seller's legal name, registered warehouse address, GSTIN, and statutory state pesticide/fertilizer license numbers.
Issued by CEPLAVAC for platform facilitation, SaaS subscription, IDL freight services, or convenience fees where applicable.
3. Multi-Seller Checkout & Sub-Orders
A single cart checkout on AGRIBIZ.FARM may contain products originating from multiple sellers. To ensure operational clarity:
- The platform automatically divides the checkout into independent Seller Sub-Orders.
- Each seller is individually responsible for packaging, invoicing, and supplying the goods in their sub-order.
- A dispute, cancellation, or delay affecting one seller does not affect the fulfillment or delivery of sub-orders from unaffected sellers.
4. Statutory Agricultural Input Directions & No Yield Guarantee
Label Compliance Mandatory: Buyers must inspect physical packaging labels, manufacturer instructions, dilution ratios, and safety precautions before opening or applying chemical inputs. Use must strictly adhere to statutory agricultural recommendations.
No Warranty on Agronomic Results: Crop yield, germination rates, and chemical efficacy depend on extrinsic environmental conditions (soil pH, moisture, irrigation, rainfall, temperature, pest pressure, and timing). Purchase of agricultural inputs does not constitute a guaranteed yield or commercial outcome. This does not exclude legal remedies for spurious, counterfeit, or expired goods.
5. Payment Methods & PPOD Model
The platform supports:
- Digital Prepaid: UPI, Credit/Debit Cards, and Netbanking via RBI-authorized payment aggregators.
- Cash on Delivery (COD) / Pay on Collection: Cash or UPI handover upon physical receipt.
- PPOD (Prepaid on Delivery): For high-value machinery or heavy bulk orders, buyers pay a nominal upfront Order Commitment Amount, with the balance collected upon delivery.
6. Dispute Resolution & Grievance Redressal
In accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, user complaints should be directed to our appointed Grievance Officer:
